Continuous Line — Tubular Sculpture

Continuous Line is a large spatial sculpture formed from a single unbroken tube that changes direction repeatedly without ever losing its fluidity. A tall arch descends in a soft wave towards a lower, smaller arch, while a loose loop hangs between them — a single pencil stroke translated into a three-dimensional object. Rounded bends and a constant profile thickness let the form read as a drawing suspended in air, its silhouette shifting radically with the viewing angle, from a compact tangle to an almost graphic, extended line. A deep navy tone and a matte finish take the hardness out of the metal and give the whole a calm, quiet character. Flat feet with fixing holes allow the piece to be securely anchored to the ground.

Every piece is handmade — bent, welded, ground and painted entirely by hand, outside of serial production. Small variations in the radii of the arches, the path of the loop and the evenness of the matte finish are a natural quality of hand-working and make each Continuous Line unique. The object suits a garden, a terrace, a public space or a large interior. A wipe with a damp cloth is all the care it needs.
